I'm looking for a digital camera for paddling, thats water proof, can fit in a buoyancy aid easily and isn't going to cost too much.
Any suggestions?

a mate of mine has this one. rapid fire, fairly simple to use, and would deffo fit in a BA (size of a deck of cards)! plus all the basic requirements and 7.1megapix!

Re: A good camera for river running
I've heard good things about Olympus and Pentax for waterproof cameras alright.
We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one minded!

Just returned from a 5 day run on the Salmon Main in Idaho here in the US. Used the Olympus 770SW and got some great pics,,even some video and sound snippets.
