Photographers request

Post by rstans » Wed Sep 08, 2010 2:48 pm

Hello, hope some of you might be able to help. I'm looking for waterfalls/weirs in the Limerick/Clare/Tipp area for a photography project I am doing. I'd like to avoid "postcards", as in places that have been photographed a million ways already. If I could avoid climbing mountains or hacking through jungles that would be nice too.
They don't have to be huge falls or rapids, sometimes smaller ones can be as photogenic.
Thank you.

Theres a place called the Clare Glens in Newport,Co. Tipp(about 30/40 mins from Limerick city),theres some drops and stuff on that, may have been photgraped before for stuff but its easy to access and theres a path to follow to see all the drops. If you google the clare glens and kayaking you'll get some kayaking videos of what the place looks like,it'll give you an idea of whats there.
