Roogagh River

Post by baldy » Sat Apr 03, 2010 7:06 pm

Hi all, just to let you know that there is quite alot of hazards on the river at the moment. There is a falling tree down, which you will need to portage, it is about 5-10mins down from the main drops up top. There is also about 4 strands of barb wire across the river in different locations. So be aware!!! The level was very good today and also sunny. Nice wee warm up!!!

Hi baldy,
Thinking of heading over there tommorrow. Last time we were there it was very overgrown from the put in down to the main drops - is this still the case, was medium that day, would make a high water run very difficult.
Thanks,
Owen
