From AARoadWatch.ie:
*WICKLOW* . . . Avoid travel in the Roundwood area. Roads around Lough Dan & the Roundwood/Laragh Rd (R755) are impassable at Annamoe due to flooding.
*CONDITIONS* *WICKLOW* High ground is still affected by snow and ice. Continue to avoid Roundwood, Glencree and the Sally & Wicklow Gaps.
From our people on the ground: Gardai are not letting anyone cross Annamoe Bridge, Dargle is off the scale, Lough Dan route into Wicklow needs a 4x4.
Jim.

Re: Wicklow road report from today (Saturday)
From Kyle: I've heard the bridge at Lough dan has only 1ft clearance under the bridge, a lot of roads have 1/2ft of water on them & Lyhnams hotel is flooded. Sounds HUGE. Report is from Eoinor and he's just going hiking now instead of boatin'...
From Young Tom on the scene: Sally Gap impassable with snow and ice from Glencree side, even with Mahony driving.
Jaysus, where's my camera?

Hi, we were in Wicklow today and attempted a paddle down the annamoe, we had to peel out before trooperstown due to the levels it was hard to define the line of the river there was so much water. Lynhams isnt flooded but the levels of the rivers around the area are HUGE, we headed down to rathdrum and ran down to the meetings the wave trains were monsters it took less than 30mins to get down.
The upper liffey is massive but the road up is still covered with ice so you can only get half way up to the put in. Id say it would be worth the hike.

We got to the Shankill from the Tallaght side in the end. Good trip down that - I haven't been on it many, many years. Funnily, it wasn't massive. Lots of lumber in the river, but mostly good to go.

Dargle was in big flood and still rising this morning. It was possible to get to Oldbridge at Lough Dan by car but roads are very poor in general. Big river wide waves downstream of the bridge and its up in the trees. We went to watch the match instead.
