Hi Im looking at planning a trip to Scotland with a group of Paddlers next winter. Does anyone know a good place to stay with a range of river from 3/2+ to 4 near by. There will be a range of paddling experience so if there was somehing for everyone that be great. Looking at staying for a around a week. Plus if you know any websites where I can get river guides similar to the ones on this page or just general info. for scotland that be great

well rob,

your best bet would be to stay somewhere around fort william and get a copy of the scotish river guide book, because unless your going to print everything off. the guide bookisnt expensive and alot handier to carry around in the car and has loads of cool ictures for just flicking through.

here is th link to the river guages for scotland, they arent working at the moment but im sure they will be fixed before ye are heading off.

All you need to know about the Scottish rivers is there. Best to stay around Central highlands. If you fancy a crack at the Falls of Lora check out:

Have fun.
