I just got a text saying that Pat Mac has been elected ICU president. Yvonne Glynn and Mark Clinton were elected to the ICU executive board. Congratulations to each of the candidates.
Update 2: "It was a long one, 11am till nearly 6pm. But most seem happy with the outcome."

Congratulations to all the newly elected executive board members!
All in all i thought the meeting itself went pretty well. It was long, but it probably needed to be in order to give everyone time for debate! I took exception to some comments made, especially by Brendan O'Connell. I was also not satisfied that Rachel Linney (who admitted not being a registered ICU member) had the nerve to stand up and make a 5 minute speech about why she called for the dismissal of the board.... She should not have been in the room! Will try to give a more detailed synopsis when i get the chance.
