Cheers for the replies BOB!

I must say it is great to be able to having an open discussion about our hopes for the federation and to have active board members involved in that. Long may it continue!

RE my 6th suggestion: That was made prior to me reading the detailed report which was circulated by the executive explaining the investigation, subsequent court case and appeals process which ended in the termination of employment of the former CEO. That basically clarified most of the questions (certainly the ones i had anyway).

I would like to see a Canoe Ireland brand. One that Summer Schools, Colleges and professional providers could display, this would mark that they met the requirements (to be set) set out by Canoe Ireland. Such a scheme would be mutually beneficial for Canoe Ireland and the organisations that took part in the scheme.

PS. In order to keep this on topic I've split some posts to another thread here.

Something that just crossed my mind- CI to take charge of accident reports instead of inland waterways(simply because they do not know much about kayaking as previous incident reports show)

All,
Some progress:

1) Publish board meeting minutes
See the page below:
http://www.canoe.ie/en-us/information/b ... ports.aspx

Now you know what has been discussed at the meetings. Clearly it is not a transcript of what got said at each meeting, (that would take an age to read!!)

Item 1 : done.
NEXT.....
