2008 National Freestyle Kayak Championships

Hey,

The National Champs are coming up in April.

To enter both or either event get your registrations in before 6pm Thursday 3rd April to

[email protected]

Give you name, Category (eg Ladies K1) and ICU number.


There are plenty of goodies and prizes for all with

Trophies for the overall National Champions
National Champs t-shirts for each entrant

Munster Dive and Canoe are providing the prizes for the Gower Rodeo.
I-canoe.com are providing the prizes for the Clifden Rodeo.
Kayaking.ie are providing even more prizes.

So even if you are not aiming for the No 1 rank in Ireland this year there are plenty of goodies, prizes and craic up for grabs at the National Champs.

Event 2 in CLifden will take place this weekend (19th & 20th Apr)

Meet on Saturday at the School car park in Clifden at 14.30,

where everyone will recieve an i-canoe.com goodie bag.

The event will run over 2 days. The organisers will endevour to get Junior finals completed on the Saturday.

Camping has been suggested for Sat night (theres gonna be a party!!), so bring a tent and lots of warm and water proff clothes.

If you missed Gower Event 1 you are more than welcome to come along to Clifden. Just throw an e-mail to

See you all on the weekend, where the new National Champions will be crowned.
