Has anyone boated in the Pyrenees in the last few years? If you have what were the standout runs, what would you recommend (IV+)? Anyone thinking of going over in early May that would be willing to pool resources I'd be interested to hear from you. Time to start planning the summer boating...

Classic Runs starting with my favourites
Gavarnie 4(5) boulder garden (one choke +portage since guide written) Couple sections 3/4 downstream of classic
Adour de Lesponne 4(5) for 5 km then 3/4 for8km - steep -loses over 500m altitude over 13km
Gave d Arrens rarely water but great fun
Aude easy but always water
Ger -like home
Gave d Aydius steep and narrow low vol run
Pallaresa big vol release fed and Sort worlds playspot
