Plenty of rain forecast for the south and west this weekend. Hoping to hit up some ditches out west on Saturday if anyone is around I may have a spot in the car. 087 7536394. ;)

Running at .6m on the gauge at the moment with more rain to come this evening so it's unlikely that it won't run....

The guide here offers a good description though it's worth noting the following:
.35m is the "you'd really want to love boating" (close to how Ross Redmond described it in the past)
.4 is regarded as the true min runnable level
small steps up from this to .55 adds pace as well as lifting you above scrapy bits
from .55 on is where I personally think holes become steadily more significant.

It rises quickly if there's heavy rain and the drop off from higher levels is a lot faster than from .5 down to .4 say.
As with everywhere, it was particularly windy here yesterday so it's likely that there will be a tree down somewhere!
