Hey There,

The guage is out of credit. I'll get it topped up soon.
All donations accepted for phone credit via paypal to [email protected]

Thankyou again to the NUIG Kayak Club for sponsoring the repair to the gauge.

A big thank you to Mike, he's spent a lot of his own money (rumour has it that its the remains of his communion money) on building and keeping gauges going. Thanks again.

Ya fair play Mike.
Out of interest what does it cost to set a gauge up? I know that a few of us in the club (moycc) would be interested in setting up one or two round Mayo.

Cheers Dave

Hey
A rough estimate would be about € 400 from scratch, this would be dependant on location as the install itself can be costly to make sure its secure etc. I've started to use better equipment which is more reliable so put up the cost alittle from the earlier gauges.

What rivers are you thinking of setting them up on??? being a mayo based club we would be interested in trying to lend a hand in this.

Hi
we have been thinking about what rivers for awhile and still havent decided on any. You would have to put them some where that would give a good idea of the levels in the area to make the most of them.
Any ideas?

Not that I know of, but I will try and get someone to find out.
I was thinking maybe the Easkey and/or something round south Mayo. It would be handy to have one near maamtrasna good rivers over there but they go up and down like yoyos.
Other suggestions welcome.
