Anyone interested in doing this? How would we arrange it?

other than stick video up what could a regional editor do that we can't do already. I thought the whole idea was we were all editors of the guide collectively, reviewing and editing the guides as we use and improve them :?:

I'd say there is stuff to be done with approving edits etc .

With you soon to be part of the cast of the Hills Seanie are you just trying to spread the workload from IWW?

Editing isn't the same as authoring. It's great that there are so many contributors, but some of the guides could use some editing to make best use of the data that has been submitted – for example, uniformity of style, spelling, confirmation of directions, local considerations, etc.

Regional editors could also request updates from local paddlers. I imagine conflicting information is also sometimes submitted that would need to be verified.

Or that's my take on it anyway. Is that what you meant, Seanie?

We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one minded!
