Leptospirosis Questionaire

Hi everyone,

Canoeing Ireland is currently working on a project in collaboration with researchers from University College Dublin to improve our understanding and awareness of Leptospirosis. We are hoping this research will contribute to reducing the risk of infection with Leptospirosis to Irish Paddlers in the future.

If you have ever contracted a medically confirmed case of Leptospirosis it would be very beneficial to this project to have some details of your case. It would be much appreciated if you could spare a few minutes to fill out this questionnaire.

Please feel free to forward this questionnaire to anybody you know of that has contracted leptospirosis in the past. You can also feel free to post it on any message boards you think kayakers may visit. The more accurate the survey is with regard to number of infected individuals the more valuable the date will be to the ICU and to the researchers in UCD.
