Round the world trip

Post by satan » Mon Jan 28, 2008 8:55 pm

Hey all,
I'm planning on getting out of this country sometime soon and heading down to New Zealand. Was thinking that it would be a shame to fly over all those lovely rivers without stopping off for a dip though so I am looking for some suggestions on where I should stop off. My vague plan at the moment is to leave sometime towards the end of the summer. Two places I was thinking of were Uganda and Canada. Anyone got anywhere else good? They would need to be pretty paddler friendly as I would probably be travelling on my own and boatless. Anyone with any advice or abuse feel free to post.

Cheers,
Pierce

Heya Pierce,
ex DCU Brian here. What would you think of Peru/South America? Ive been looking into some great looking multidays over there. Theres stuff that run alongside ancient inca ruins and hiking trails. I should be over there from around june/july onwards
