It truly is nuts, and its a nice addition.

I've seen some videos of this in the past but this is the first one that really shows the speed.
And also at near the end the camera is filling from the bottom of the spillway and it gives you and idea of the incline.

Brad Ludden paddles a fall on the Mekong River deep in the jungle on the Laos & Cambodian borders.

Such over-hyped Hollywood porn. And he doesn't do a great job of it (not that I would).

I was thinking that too, also it doesn't strike me as that difficult, I have seen him do much harder rapids. But I like it for its production values and the slow motion lets you see the technique he's using, riding up on reactionaries, charging cross the grain..... low brace turns, bow rudders etc.

The production values are great, definitely. Good movie to show to a non-kayaker.
