Sanyo, look very nice and good quality. Can pick them up on ebay from 220e. Anyone have any experience with them?

Looks good here is a link to some info I saw last week on Ukriverguidebook has a youtube video on it too of footage taken from the camera looks alright. Seems cheap enough too compared to others ive seen.

It sounds like you might have a 1394/1396 (4pin to 6pin) firewire cable like so:



if this is the case you'll probably need to get a 1394/1394 (where both ends are the small port) to connect your camcorder to your computer.

Maplin or any electronics store should sell generic ones cheap.
