hi there, Ireland has a lot of rivers to offer. It can be best split up into three main regions Dublin/Wicklow
Limerick Kerry and Donegal.
Gear Can be bought in RiverDeepMountain high in limerick and galway.
www.greatoutdoors.ie is based in dublin
www.splashtac.ie is in Portarlington
www.roughstuff.ie paddle manufacturer
Rainfall will decide what rivers are worth doing ?
At the moment rivers are quiet low due to the lack of rain.
What type of rivers grade of rivers would be interersted in ?
There is also a river guide book that can be bought.
hope I have givien you some help for your holiday here ?

I have a related question.... I'll be visiting Ireland next spring by myself... does anyone know of any kayak schools or guide services? I don't really need the lessons, just some place to rent gear and have a person show me down the river.
