This weekend sees the second event of the 2009 Watertech Paddle Surf League and the second worlds team selections moving to the Sligo / Donegal border. We are hoping to use a lesser known wave east of Lissadell but this is subject to conditions. If not the event will take place in the well proven Tullen. (A final notifacation will be sent closer to the weekend.)
Meeting places will be at 09.30 in the car park of Henry's carvery restaurant on the road North out of Sligo. Or if there is a lack of swell we will meet in Tullen carpark at the same time, but there will be confirmation of the change in venue.
We are very happy to have the support of Bundoran Surf Co. - Surf School, Surf Lodge & Shop for this event and we highly recommend them for there shop and as a great place to stay this weekend - Bundonan is very close to the planned comp locations.
This event will run in any conditions (unless unsafe) as the worlds events will run on the set dates irrelevant of conditions and so paddlers need to show an ability to be versatile.
