Paddling in Kerry over Christmas

Post by Seanie » Wed Dec 03, 2008 12:25 am

So its that time of year again, I hope I'll be able to make it down (and that I don't get the flu for the third year in a row).

What would people consider to be the must see rivers in the area? how many are in the area?
Any hidden gems?

Oh also worth mentioning this:
IFS - Peter Larkin wrote:Morning All..... Well it is December and maybe people are thinking of coming to Kerry for the New Year . First pray for rain!!!.

Secondly, I was recently surfing with a group at Rossbeigh and I was approached by a member of the Gardai. He was very professional and just wanted to know who we were , who was the responsible person(s) and did every one have the correct equipment. All very simple and pleasant. They are aware of how popular the area is in New Year and they just want people to be safe.

Also please see Lorcans mail in River Warnings.

Thats it.
