Introducing 'In Between Swims: The Whitewater Podcast"

Post by inbetweenswims » Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:23 am

Hello everyone....

After seeing some hits come from this board, I thought I'd post and introduce myself....
(Mods pls delete if inappropriate and I'll not bother you again)

I'm Jeff McIntyre a boater and instructor based on the Potomac in the US - I produce/host a podcast on whitewater called 'In Between Swims:The Whitewater Podcast.' The show features pro and amateur boaters talking about the sport of whitewater. I aim to make the episodes a mix of sport, conservation, event coverage, and interviews. The show is non-commercial, non-sponsored, and not trying to sell anything - we have enough media that does that in the kayak world already.

Anyway, I hope you'll give it a listen and drop me a line with any thoughts or comments you might have. It would be great to get some perspectives from Irish paddlers on the program.

Here's the latest episode, just posted....

2008 International Whitewater Hall of Fame inductee Mick Hopkinson
talks to 'In Between Swims' about canvas boats,
epic 4 month journeys to the put-in,
and his take on the state of the sport.
