Well folks, the deadline has come and gone. Have you pushed your committee to ask questions, and hand in motions?
Have any of ye put forward motions other than what Seanie suggested?

Anyone going to the AGM, or bringing others up?
I'd be there but for a,uh, singing competition.

I fear that despite all of Seanie's hard work and every speaking up about wht they think should be do... Allot of people have just sat back and expected someone else to do it....

On this I hope I am wrong.

i think you are wrong on this one, i know of several clubs that submitted motions that they would like to see put to vote.

and it would be canvasing to discuss said motions further on message boards, the place for discussion and decision is at the AGM!

the question is will people turn out and vote for the better or for the worse??

Ye guys are so melodramatic.

I submitted the motions our members requested on behalf of NUIG Kayak Club, and I am sure other clubs have done the same. Hopefully some intelligent and considered input will be forthcoming on the issues from other ICU members in attendance.

See you at the AGM.

Melodramatic.....me never!

I know you guys in NUIG and the ULKC crew as have the freestyle commitee have been active as I am sure most of the other collage clubs have been, its all of the other clubs who seemed up to know more than happy to burry there head in the sand about how things have been done....

Anyway I'll be at the AGM, interested to see how things will pan out.

Who is bringing the popcorn?

With all due respect, Adrian,

The type of discussion going on here is to encourage members to involve themselves in the ICU via the AGM, not to sit passively and let a very small proportion have input.

Also just because clubs have not informed you of their submissions/opinions or decided that they would prefer not to discuss them on a website does not mean that there are or aren't any.

See everyone then,

Ann-Marie

Annie annie annie.... please forgive me if I tried to inject a little humour in to what is otherwise a fairly serious topic.

Lighten up a wee bit.....:D

I am more than aware that of the "state of the Union" and the reform that is needed. As for your comment

I know alot of clubs around the country have being putting more though than ever into submissions/opnions for the up coming AGM, sadly I know there are alot of clubs around who have no idea or no interest in the goings on in the ICU. I wish that wasn't the case.....

I think we are on the same side here, lets hope that after all the work people have put in that when the AGM people who have voiced an opnion for change, attend the AGM and have there voice/vote count.

Peace and love!
