All of the above 5 members of the ICU Executive were elected for a 2 year term at the 2004 AGM.
2005 AGM (held on May 19th, 2006)
No elections were held at the 2005 AGM.
2006 AGM (held on May 12th, 2007)
In order to alternate membership of the Executive and with the agreement of the 2006 AGM it was decided that only 3 Executive positions would be put forward for election at the 2006 AGM. Three members of then incumbent Executive went forward, and as there were no other nominations, were duly elected for a second 2 year term; these being Eamon Devoy (President), Brendan O’Connell (Treasurer), and Gillian Devlin (1st Ordinary Executive Member).
2007 AGM (to be held on October 18th, 2008)
At the 2007 AGM, two positions on the Executive will be due for election; these being the position currently held by William Irwin (Honorary Secretary) and that of 2nd Ordinary Executive Member which was vacated by Greg Byrne during his term in office.
The President and one Executive Member are elected from amongst nominations
submitted in accordance with the Articles for a term of 2 years in each year of an
even number.
The other 3 Executive Members are elected from amongst nominations submitted in
accordance with the Articles for a term of 2 years in each year of an odd number.
Any member of the Executive holding office for three consecutive terms is not
eligible for re - election as a member of the Executive for a period of one year.
