Definition of ironic: Kayakers (by implication enviromentally friendly so as to enjoy the outdoors, hence partaking in an out door sport), the sport of whom is benifited (at the moment) by climate change and the 100mm of rain falling in july (figures based at Dublin airport and are in no way intended for massive return in posts arguing that is has been a miserable summer*)...

But yeah it has been pissing here in dublin (infact today is the first nice day in ages) but the annamoe gauge seems to be at mid way. so guess its not raining as much down there. but anyway my paddling buddy fucked his arm recently and the others are off travelling like the posh students they are, so if anyone is about for some Dublin Area Rapid Paddling or DARP as i like to call it gimme a shout.

have a car but no roof bars and my boat is stashed in trinity college boat house which is a good centeral place to meet before going north south or west... (or east on the really dry days...)

im also looking to go west to sample some of your finest and get some rivers i've always wanted to do so keep updates comming as imm sure there are lots more paddlers like me out there!

FYI - been raining steady enough for a while in Limerick this afternoon but Mike was out looking about Glens gauge and not up.

Was at .2 on the hard gauge.... unless there's more tonight it won't run tomorrow.

Anyone got any idea about Kerry?
