For anybody interested the Level 3 Paddlesurf Instructor Assimilation is set for July 6-7 2012.

Notes:
Candidates for the Level 3 Paddlesurf Instructor Assimilation course must meet the following minimum requirements
Be a Level 3 Instructor (river/sea/canoe),
Have experience surf kayaking - competed in 5+ competitions or ran 5+ days of surf coaching/instructing in the last 2 years,
Be a current member of the Training Unit of Canoeing Ireland.
A Level 3 Paddlesurf Instruct can
Instruct and lead groups safely in surf conditions up to 1 metre.
Assess the Canoeing Ireland Level 3 Paddlesurf Skills award.

Date change to 5th and 6th of October to suit better swell. This is the last date change.

Also if anyone wants to go to some competitions

Some of us are heading up to Portrush for the British Open on the 14 & 15 of September if any one interested.

And highlight of the Paddlesurf Year is the Irish Open held at Easky Co. Sligo on the 21 & 22 of September.
