Club/groups around Castlebar

Ive moved from Wicklow to Achill for a few months. Does anyone have any contacts with paddlers in and around Castlebar? Would love to hook up with people for some river trips over the next few months (especially if this rain keeps up....) but I dont know anyone over this side that paddles.
PS if anyone is planning a surf trip to Achill, let me know!

There is a Castlebar Kayak Club outside of the GMIT one also and Moy CC in Ballina.

The Moy Canoe Club are very active around the Mayo area.
