The NUIGKC Kayak Intervarsities 2010 Whitewater race will take place on the Boluise River, Spiddal on Feb 14th at 12pm.
We would kindly ask that all kayakers avoid using the river between 11am and 4pm to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Spectators are more than welcome at the event and we would ask that spectators view the race from the bridge in Spiddal Village or from the public walkway around Poll Gorm. An agreement has been put in place with the local landowner that no spectators will have access to the the riverbank, and that no cars will be parked on the access road to the 'Put In'. We would ask that all spectators honour this agreement.
