Glens Gauge out of credit

Post by Seanie » Tue Oct 27, 2009 2:58 pm

I only noticed that the glens gauge wasn't updating last night. It hasnt updated for a few days. I thought it was broken so I contacted Mike.

It turns out that Mike is currently finding himself on the hippy trail in India. He mention that he was "tripping balls..." or something :-D. And the gauge isn't actually broken, its just out of credit. So I topped it up with 10 bucks credit.

Today its on:
29cm at 13:55
29cm at 13:30
30cm at 13:00

The graph should update tmr morning again, but if anyone else would also like to help out and top it up with credit, that it would be great. Its on O2 - 086 4072314

Thanks

Incidentally, just so people are aware, the gauge seems to be reading a few cm high when you ring it, I stood beside it on Sunday while it gave me 9 beeps but was only barely at 0.4 on the stick gauge.
Have already informed Mr Sweeney that this kind of misinformation is just not good enough and his gauge is cr*p!

hey Muireann,

1 beep = 5cm so gauge is bang on
See this post from Mike

Now get thee back to Cork! :D

Seanie, any chance what the number of beeps equates to (5cm or 10cm) can be put above each graph?

Yeah 1 beep = 5cm, so 9 beeps should be between 45 and 49cm, not under 40, sheesh do they not teach maths up there in the Pale!

Thanks for that Seanie

Back in the country now, I'll keep an eye on it Muireann and correct it (if there is a problem) ASAP. I apologise for the in-accuracy and i'd hate if you had travelled all the way from Cork thinking it was running when it wasn't, that would have been a shame

Fergal nice to see another gauge online. Now that i'm back and bumming about i'll try get my final two online shortly.

Laters

Mike
