scotts video on their expedition into the tsangpo gorge is also pretty good, and peter heller went with them and wrote a good if a little exagerted book on the whole thing call"hell or high water" which I would reccomend. i havent come across any other good books for kayakers that arent magazines or...

well rob, your best bet would be to stay somewhere around fort william and get a copy of the scotish river guide book, because unless your going to print everything off. the guide bookisnt expensive and alot handier to carry around in the car and has loads of cool ictures for just flicking through. ...

Just noticed this on the graphs for the gauges today! I thought both rivers had different drop off rates with one being lake fed yet at almost the exact same time according to the graphs an almost identical drop in the chart is this the time delay where the gauges are sending out info or some strang...

well adam theres not as such a "paddling season" in Ireland at the moment. Best bet is the winter or spring. but saying that we had a huge june last year, unfortunately i spent it in the alps gettting phone calls from home!.
