Seanie, I reckon you kinda hit on the two main factors there in your post, fashoin being the first one. Most of my mates I paddle with (myself included) have two helmets one more for freestyle and the other more for creeking. As for is the Strutter not being up to the job... Well anyway you look at ...

Your right the night time service coveres from 9pm-9am, I suppose I was trying to get across that the service is invulable to the region and is relivant to use kayakers and is something we should try ensure stays in place.
