Re: Sweet Strutters, are they solid?

I-canoe and sweet were doing free replacements with the problems resolved so maybe people just decided to upgrade their helmets while...

Re: Mid week paddlers

I think a better solut...

But when he came in he gave the other lads waiting for us in the car a load of shit, screaming and shouting at them and they ...

Re: Where to paddle in Ireland
Hey Bojan If you get yourself a road map once you get here and maybe people could post up a bunch of mobile numbers for the different regions and before you head to say Galway Mayo Sligo etc. you could text someone over there and get the heads up on the paddling possibilities. Your family will kill ...

Re: Boyne Acid
There was something on the news on either RTE or TV3 about it the same week. They reported that only one guy got burns and his skin must have reacted with something in the water that he was allergic to. Didn't hear anything about it since. Check on the EPA's website they usually keep an up to date r...

Mobile phone reception on rivers
Would a gauge of how good phone reception is around rivers be a good addition to the information regarding rivers. The information could be graded as we all know it changes, but going from "theres none" --- to ---- "theres some" (meaning you wouldnt have to run far to get reception) --- to ---- "Ful...

Re: What should a college club aspire to?
On safety aspects I have to ask the question Whats with University Club across the water in merry old england? I had a rather long indepth conversation with some irish lads in the alps over this but Irish clubs are miles ahead of clubs over there when it comes to safety and leading on rivers. There ...
