Re: TDU AGM & Agenda - 16th April 2011
Hi Adrian (and everyone else),
The way it works is trainee instructors are members of the TDU and are welcome to attend the AGM but they have no vote. Only fully qualified paid up members are entitled to vote on motions at the AGM.
Hope that clarifies the issue.

Re: Irish boatercross series.
Hi all, sounds like a great idea to streamline the boatercross series. I don't see the need for a new organisation though. I think Seanie mentioned talking to the ICU in an earlier post. Re: Adventureizing - Owenglin River, Clifden
It was around where the cottages/holiday homes are that I remember the odd iron bar or two in the river. Was a bit after the main rapid but before the get out... Not a major hazard but almost caught us out.
Looks like alot of fun up further too.

Re: Adventureizing - Owenglin River, Clifden
Hi Seanie, I paddled it a few times over the last while although we just walked up to the start of the rapids near the cottages. Good technical class III I'd say. I heard talk of a short gorge section up somewhere on the longer start but never cheked it out. Access could be an issue with the cottage...
