Joe, I've also found this and its quite annoying, at the moment i'm trying to rectify it. As far as i know there are a few different things that can cause this (Daithi can correct me if i'm wrong) 1) The resistor at R4 controls the voltage to the phone, in the older versions of the board it was set ...

Please note that the Glens Gauge is on the test bench at the moment and hence the random graph!!!

Seanie, Hope the gauge bulding is going well. I think the most tricky part for me was the damn phone, you really need a fine and good soldering iron, mines a piece of junk and it makes it a whole lot harder. Hey, I think the wired options do have much better quality, in saying that i have seen one of those all in one jobs that record to the media cards and they seemed ok quality. But these do record in Mpeg4 so really not brill for editing purposes. Make sure your video camera has AV in. I have a Viospo...
