As far as I know (could be wrong!) Phoenix have just finished up their last beginners course for this season, and they don't run courses through winter. MDAC will run trips and courses all through winter. The only other active clubs I know of are the college clubs - UCC and CIT, but both you have to...

To add another side - Should the swimmer be buying for everyone involved? eg. if someone swims and I get their boat, someone else gives a stern carry, a third picks up paddles and then they accept a throwbag at the end - does everyone get beer??? I had the smaller version (the Trigger) for a year or two, and it was a great little river runner. I was definitely the limiting factor, not the boat. I took it to Scotland and the French Alps with me, as well as lots of rivers around Ireland. Grade 4 no problem, and I'm sure the boat would happily ...

Boat stolen in Clifden
Hey kids, we were up in Clifden at the weekend and Willy from Cork's car got broken into on Saturday night. Camera and boat were taken out of the back.
