Given the sheer number of Rockers around these days, I think it indicates a fashion trend. I've never seen such a huge number of people make a choice based purely on safety concerns. There are. They were hung in very low water though, and need adjusting. The level was about 1.3ish over the weekend, and the gates were not suitably positioned. There are also more gates available to hang out there if anyone wants to/has time – get in touch with Annie or me.

No worries, we were up with about 70 beginners last Saturday. It was at pretty much a perfect level, with more rain on the day.
