Re: Regional Editors
other than stick video up what could a regional editor do that we can't do already. I thought the whole idea was we were all editors of the guide collectively, reviewing and editing the guides as we use and improve them

Re: Sweet Strutters, are they solid?
I've seen a rocker cracked without the person being concussed,(they did need a neck brace) while have been left concussed myself without more than a scratch on the strutter. There is very little padding in my strutter, the rockers seem to be well padded out, maybe thats why they retain water?

It’s to set up an authority to make mandatory safety standards for commercial operators. It has been passed into law already, just not put into action. Notice my link is to a...

Re: Regulation of Kayaking and Canoeing in Ireland
Effective self regulation by the relevent NGBS, by all means, as is practiced by the Irish Sailing Association and Mountaineering Ireland. But government regulation? No thanks As it stands anyone can run hillwalking and sailing courses. They just can't hand out certs from the national governing bod...

Re: Regulation of Kayaking and Canoeing in Ireland
If you read the Bill and dail debates its all about public safety. whether a person gets a ICU cert or not does affect their safety, but weather a experienced and able instructor looks after them does. The Bill is aimed at centers that send 20 10 year olds old with a young level two trainee and a 16...
