Remember paddling is about doing something we enjoy and have fun doing... Actually I was having a go a...

Re: South-East coast guard helicopter petition
I was talking to a helicopter pilot that said it would have been an improved service if it had gone the way of the Department of Transport. The new aircraft would have been faster dispatched from wherever its base was in the east than the one that is on 24 hour standby in South East. I dont know any...

Re: Regulation of Kayaking and Canoeing in Ireland
You've quoted your own answers Does this give n.g.b's the power to dictate regulations/guidelines in order to push out smaller operators? Its board will have NGB representatives to oversee it. Its not trying to replace NGB's but to insist anyone offering to bring people out for money follow NGB guid...

Re: Regulation of Kayaking and Canoeing in Ireland
Shall will write letters, petition or just egg them till somethings do A draft letter should be done up by someone in the know and posted somewhere, along with the email addresses of those in a position to receive it. Then everyone can sign and send that letter themselves. (I'd do it but have a fee...

Re: Advertising on the forum
I see any forum as being like a party. At the start there will only be a few people, if we were to through that party in a warehouse it would be too big and the party would die. So I'm planning on having it in a nice room with furniture and good tunes. If more people arrive we can move the furnitur...

Re: Advertising on the forum
Could they not advertise through ad banners and so on? I'd say it would be more effective for them as oppose to just putting up a forum post that will eventually get lost under more posts! IWW then have the option to charge for advertisement if thats what IWW wants to do! Would it be worth having a ...

Re: Dagger Mamba & Nomad, whats the difference?
There's a lot of whitewater out there and you want a boat that can handle all of it. This all-around performance series lets paddlers of any experience level tackle technical water. The world's ultimate creeker has been the kayak of choice for dominating outrageous rivers and descents. That would b...

Re: Latex rash
Hi John, before ya go buying new gear there are a few things you should try out. Try using KY jelly or some other water based lubricants to rule out an abrasion problem. It could be that there is a bit of give in the wrist seals (maybe they stretched/ you lost weight) that would cause them to move w...
