Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

For those not aquatinted with the user called "talkin sense". talkin sense = troll account by an anonymous user. I can't help but feel that those minutes were put there to spite Mark. While I agree no employee should have take any sort of abuse, the current GM has proven his utter incompetence time ...

Re: freestyle website

It looks like the site is gone. If anyone knows the person who is in control of the irishfreestyle.com domain can you ask them to contact me? [email protected].com I'd love to keep it alive, just to save parts of it. Old committee info, photos etc. and maybe someone in the future could bring it back...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

Ah yes - the lunatics have taken over the asylum! From what I heard the main votes were decided by around about 600 votes to less than 200. “The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four people is suffering from a mental illness. Look at your 3 best friends. If they're ok, then it's you.”

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

So it sounds like the ICU board didn't accept some of the nominations based on a technicality. The nominees were notified after the deadline and as such couldn't address the issue raised.

I'll post a more detailed outline of what happened later today.

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

Note: I've split this debate from the other thread, as they are two different subjects. The other one is about the ICU ADM, this one is about discussing the merits of "let[ting] go of the past and look to the future" . Talking Sense, your posts are devoid of any wisdom or anything else that would ad...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

The fact that shit happened in this case is actually to the benefit of those who seek to constantly find fault - they have been given a second opportunity to put their names forward for election and/or to put up motions for debate. Surely they should jump at that opportunity instead of criticising ...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM

Either put yourself up for election or put up a meaningful motion. Put up or shut up! Are these things mutually exclusive? Why are you afraid of criticism and discussion? what a petty small minded individual you show yourself to be What is petty or small minded about concerns about how the Canoeing...
