Club/groups around Castlebar
Ive moved from Wicklow to Achill for a few months. Does anyone have any contacts with paddlers in and around Castlebar? Would love to hook up with people for some river trips over the next few months (especially if this rain keeps up....) but I dont know anyone over this side that paddles. PS if any...

Dargle was medium today at 10am and its been raining on and off all day, pretty constant right now, so id say itll still be up tomorrow morn.

Levels on the Dargle were good this morning (8am) and it was bucketing down for a solid hour after that so levels should stay high for the day.

Dargle too low to paddle.
Annamoe was low but paddlable today, got out for a quick spin. Hoping for some rain to bring up something fun tomorrow but not looking likely!Ah well , theres always Rathdrum to Meetings.....

well they were pumping on tuesday!! I live beside the dargle, it was tanking three days ago. Not sure now, ill jog past it in the morning though so can check it out then and let you know. Im just wondering if the rivers in kerry are paddlable, if its worth driving down?

Anyone have info on the water levels in Kerry at the moment? Trying to decide whether to head down this coming weekend (29th and 30th) from Wicklow or not.
