Re: Looking for a video...
I remember a video some guys made as an entry for the IR Vacation to Hell competition, where they had a steel cable from a truck on a bridge to a tree with two guys on a stretcher type thing, one operating the camera, the other controlling the speed. I think it was the same year The Range Life won i...

HD Cams on Rivers
Check out this crowd, http://www.farsondigitalwatercams.com/live-webcams/ireland/Suir/Clonmel/ A fisherman told me about them lately. A group of fishermen can get together and pay this crowd and they will put in a HD cam at any spot. Pretty savage. Advertising then pays for the hosting of the feed a...

Re: A New ICU
I'd like to see a new ICU thats more encompassing of its sub-committees like the Freestyle committee, an ICU thats actively seeking to support the committees, an ICU that reaches out instead of sub-committees having to chase after them for stuff. At times it felt (maybe because of the physical dista...

Re: MCIB Report - Fatal incident on the Clodagh River, Water
In the Appendix 8.1 (c) I believe the arrow pointing to the weirs location is incorrect. That is an old channel where water flowed through the factory for water wheels. The actual location of the wier is on the main river directly below and where the arrow is pointing and where there is a dark line ...

God Seanie
That recording is genuinely hard to stomach in parts, I can't imagine how you must have felt at the time. Do you know or can you name the people or the clubs they represent that were telling you to basically shut up? I wonder how they feel now?
cheers

Re: What the f*ck is going on with the ICU?
I would have considered myself reasonably informed and maybe its because I'm out of the country but this is the first I've heard of all this craic. Can you go into more detail and name names? Probably be a good idea to put links to the topic on irishfreestyle, surf kayak, canoepolo and boards.ie to ...

Re: Irish Paddling films
Is there any point really? There is nothing to be made from it these days with the ease of copying stuff. Look at joel kowalski vid Stakeout, I know it's short buts its quality and in "HD" and it gets released for free. The trend now seems to be towards making clips for the net "shorts" with loads o...
