Re: Boluisce Water Levels
Seanie, River spy heights are pretty much the good to go runnable levels 1.1m Scrapable, 1.9m High. The levels are from the outflow side of the dam (I think the level station is only 10m or so down stream from the gates), so there's always a small pool there anyway. @ 1.9m the foot bridge (at the ca...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM
So the TDU still exists, but the Chair of the TDU does not sit on the Board, same as disciplines. One Recreational Sport rep shall be nominated by the TDU unless another candidate is elected to this position at the ADM in an uneven numbered year and elected at the ADM.

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM
I second what Adrian and Seanie have just said. With such overwhelming support for change, it cannot be supported that the system to date worked. It may have worked in some peoples views, but not not to the majority of paddlers. I hope that the changes see more paddlers returning to CI and that it w...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM
I'm only guessing here Adrian, but I would imagine that this only applies under "normal" circumstances to retain committee "memory". The case at the moment is unprecedented (in my short Canoeing Ireland memory). There are no elected members of the executive; there is no executive. Surely, in this ca...

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM
According to the M&A's the monitions and nominations are to be published x days before the ADM (14/10 I think), for what ever reason this hasn't happened. So the ADM couldn't go ahead and even if it did anything decided at it could be called into question / deemed invalid. Adrian, the relevant M&A'...

Which rules do you mean Seanie? The 3 months or the Individual members?Seanie wrote: Two questions:
- When did this rule get introduced?
- Are these rules legal under company law?
Individual members came in at the 2011 ADM (one in which Pat was elected).

Re: Canoeing Ireland AGM
Just a reminder to all those who cannot attend. Individual members have one vote each (One person one vote, as per 2011 ADM) no need for bloc of 10 individual members any longer. If you cannot attend please proxy your vote to a club or individual of your choosing. This proxy needs to be with the off...
