A load of scaffolding on the second bridge on the roughty (take out for middle start of lower) has fallen into the main channel and made a bit of mess of it. At medium water levels its possible to sneak down the right arch channel but the scaffolding is likey to fall further so get out and look.

Just heard of a paddler who was diagnosed with swine flu and treated for same to no effect only to discover that he had contracted the dreaded Weil's deisease. Apparently the symptoms are similar and hospitals/doctors are obviously on the look out for Swine Flu first and foremost.
