Re: Resignation of President and Executive of Canoeing Irela
In response to the last post tdu membership does entitle you to CI membership but you need to request that you are in the database as a member of the tdu and your club as this is not automatically done last time ii had to renew. This is important for CI voting rights for your club. I don't want to af...

I agree with canned that what little faith I had left in the Canoeing Ireland to function is gone.Since you were elected you may be the best to lead those willing in a new direction. Wou...

Club Guide
Hey Seanie,
have you ever thought of putting a club guide up on the website?
Maybe a club forum on the board index with a guide that can be built up to over time so anyone looking to start a kayak club can look to it for ideas, and ask for help from others.

Any chance of sharing that manifesto with this site?

Re: ICU AGM 2011 - 50th ADM Motions & Nominations
I believe yes there should be a proxy for individual votes, but it shouldn't be assumed that as a member of a club you want your chairperson to have your vote. In signing up to a introductory courses you may have to become a member of a club. Those wishing to have their vote transferred by proxy to ...

Re: ICU AGM 2011 - 50th ADM Motions & Nominations
BOB would you appose an amendment to the motion for it to scrap the second part and just read
That with effect from the 51st ADM all Members will each have their own vote and this replaces the current voting system?

Re: ICU AGM 2011 - 50th ADM Motions & Nominations
I think its impractical to continue letting chairpersons carry club votes while indivduals outside clubs while letting individual members vote. You would have to leave your club to exercise your own vote.
With this can individual members sign over votes to another individual member?
