Re: Hidden gem in Carlow

Hi chris,
I'm living near Athlone and would like to try paddling this river.
What is the water level at today and would it need to rain again before I travel.
I could go paddling during the week if anyone is around.

Re: Access to Tuam feature

hi folks,
A group of friends and I paddled the feature at Tuam last week without any hassle.
We acccesed the river by walking through the field at the back of the shop and exited by climbing the wall on river left.
Nobody spoke to us at all during our trip.

Re: Duff Levels

hi colm,
If you want to run the bun dorracha, you could contact delphi outdoor pursuit center.
As they are close by they could tell you water levels before you travel.

dry bag lost on annamoe

I brought out a group today on the annamoe. A yellow dry went floating down the river past little jacksons. The group got out at buckie's bridge and dry bag wasn't found. it contains a FA kit and karabiners.
Anyone who finds it please gimme a ring

Re: paddling partner

i don't it would suit meeting you at 5pm and travelling some distance to a river, it would be a late paddling session unless there a suitable near you (within 20 miles). Do you have transport or any means of doing a shuttle ?
sorry to dissapoint, safety first
