Ruairi Og,
Can't comment on the Magnum as i'v never owned or paddled one but have a Sniper for the last 10 years and it has served me very well. It's certainly been put through it paces and has only taken 10 years for the plastic to crack. That said it's easy repairable.

Tried a run from Lough Dan to Jacksons today on the Annamoe. Had to abandon ship at Annamoe bridge - wasn't worth carrying on as it was becoming more of a rock clambering trip than a paddling trip

All, There is a large tree covering the arch of the bridge at the get out point on the Clare Glens. It is passable in low-medium levels but exercise extreme care and caution, pass through on the right.
