Re: Upper Liffey Gauge
Yeah, I put it back out at the start of the run in to jacksons, on river right, I went to see what was wrong with it on Thursday and the whole lot was gone. I give up! I'm off paddling for the summer, I might start all over again when I get back, but with no job to pay for the parts it is unlikely f...

Annamoe Gauge Ooops!
I forgot to top up the phone. All should be good now. The river has gone up to 22cm.

Annamoe Gauge, Out of the Pond
And into the river!
The Annamoe gauge is back out in the wild. Its in a new position so the levels wont be the same as they were before. The river is nearly as low as it gets at the moment, and the gauge is reading 21cm. It is definitely not worth running!

Annamoe Gauge Down
So some one has found the Annamoe gauge, and stolen the solar panel, so to protect a lot of work from being waisted I have removed it from the river. I will have it back out in as soon as I can. If anyone knows some one who owns land along the river who wouldn't mind the gauge being on their land I'...

Re: Building a river gauge
It was a C45 that would not read the texts, I can't remember what the other phone was. I had set up the admin list with the first phone so it didn't matter if the C45 didn't read texts. The C45 is the phone that is running the gauge now. Daithi said he thought there might be an AT command to change ...

Re: Building a river gauge
Do Any of the text commands work? I have a similar problem with the phone in the Annamoe gauge. I had two phones, One would receive the texts and then do what it was supposed to, but that phone died and when I connected the other one (a different model) it wouldn't read the texts, Daithi thought it ...

Re: Avonmore River gauge (adjustment ?)
To be honest when I first put in the gauge we just made up the levels, we had to put the lines somewhere. I don't mind where they go, I thought they were ok but if people want them moved go ahead. Also, the solar panel has been moved and a few other problems sorted, so the number for the gauge is 08...

Re: Annamoe guage
So far I have been going for subtle.
I only ask as people often have car batteries lying around, as I did until I used it for the gauge. Its like recycling only better.

Re: Annamoe guage
It wasn't washed away but the water got pretty close! The battery's are very low, I need to move the solar panel to a less shaded spot. If any one has a spare car battery (that works) to donate to the gauge I could charge it and switch it for the one thats powering the gauge. Otherwise I will have t...
